Every Post COVID Care facility offers different services and access to specialists. We have labeled each according to services offered: Multidisciplinary Long-Term Recovery (most comprehensive), Rehabilitation & Therapy (focus on rehabilitation) and Acute COVID-19 Recovery (focus on improved function after severe illness or hospitalization, often in-patient services). *Survivor Corps does not endorse any providers.

Multidisciplinary Long-Term Recovery

The UVM Health Network COVID Recovery Program was created to help patients with ongoing COVID-related health issues, and provides highly individualized, expert medical care across the UVM Health Network, based on the most current research and understanding of Long COVID. Treatment for Long COVID begins with the patient’s primary care provider, who will assess their symptoms and provide a recommended course of action. Furthermore, patients may be referred to one or more specialty services, including:

  1. Audiology

  2. Cardiology

  3. Gastroenterology

  4. Hematology

  5. Infectious Disease

  6. Occupational Therapy

  7. Physical Therapy

  8. Pulmonary Medicine

  9. Neurology

  10. Rheumatology

  11. Speech-Language Pathology

To make an appointment: If you have a primary care provider, call them or message them through MyChart to let them know you're experiencing post-COVID-19 symptoms. Your primary care provider does not need to be affiliated with the UVM Health Network for you to be able to access these services. If you do not currently have a primary care provider, please call (802) 847-5039 and the UVM Health Network will help you schedule an appointment with a Primary Care provider in your area. 

The University of Vermont Health Network also offers a free, confidential online support group for all patients, family members, caregivers, community members and providers who have experienced long-lasting COVID-19 symptoms. Meetings are held online via ZOOM on the third Wednesday of each month from 5-6:30 pm and are led by UVM Medical Center physicians.
