Every Post COVID Care facility offers different services and access to specialists. We have labeled each according to services offered: Multidisciplinary Long-Term Recovery (most comprehensive), Rehabilitation & Therapy (focus on rehabilitation) and Acute COVID-19 Recovery (focus on improved function after severe illness or hospitalization, often in-patient services). *Survivor Corps does not endorse any providers.   


Louisville

Interdisciplinary Long-Term Recovery

The Norton Healthcare COVID-19 Long-Term Care Clinic treats both adults and children who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and have ongoing health needs as a result.

Anyone with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis can receive treatment. Patients can be referred from their primary care provider or may self-refer.

Once approved for treatment, each patient will receive an assessment and health evaluation, with subsequent treatment and evaluation plan. Patients can be referred to appropriate specialties as needed, including PT, speech therapy, cardiology, pulmonology, or neurology, from within the Norton Healthcare network.

Rehab and Physical Therapy

UK Healthcare’s Pulmonary Rehabilitation Clinic is giving COVID-19 patients the care and resources to recover and heal from the virus’s long-term health effects. The overarching goal of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Clinic is to return COVID survivors to a healthy, independent lifestyle. The Clinic boasts a team of pulmonologists, nurses, exercise physiologists, dietitians and therapy technicians who work together to formulate an effective treatment plan for each patient. Each patient receives an individualized diet, medication and exercise regimen.

The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Clinic is open Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM and offers both outpatient in-person and tele-health services.

Results Physiotherapy Post-Covid Rehabilitation

Rehab and Physical Therapy

Results Physiotherapy Post-Covid Rehabilitation seeks to provide exercise, strengthening, cardiovascular training, functional training, education and manual therapy in the rehabilitation process for patients recovering from the long-term effects of COVID infection.

The physical therapists affiliated with Results Physiotherapy Post-Covid Rehabilitation are experts in musculoskeletal examinations and functional assessment and are well trained in respiratory assessments and other treatments. The Results Physiotherapy clinics have the necessary tools such as spirometers and oxygen saturation monitors to keep patients safe, develop individualized recovery programs and track both functional and physiologic progress.

The Rehabilitation program is designed to be provided either in person or virtually using a telehealth platform.This 4-Stage program is delivered over an 8 week period.
