The list below provides information on a growing network of Post COVID Care Centers (PCCC).
If you know of any additional care facilities or centers, please send details and info to science@survivorcorps.com.
Every post COVID care facility offers different services and access to specialists. To help you navigate the services being offered, we have labeled each clinic as either Multidisciplinary Long-Term Recovery (the most comprehensive) Rehabilitation & Therapy (focus is on rehabilitation) and Acute COVID-19 Recovery (focus is on improved function after severe illness or hospitalization, often in-patient services).

Children’s National Hospital Pediatric Post-COVID Program
111 Michigan Avenue NW, Washington, DC, 20010 | 202-476-5000
Pediatric Multidisciplinary Long-Term Recovery
In May 2021, Children’s National Hospital launched the pediatric Post-COVID Program to provide families with access to multiple providers who are experienced in the evaluation and management of children and adolescents affected by long COVID – all at one appointment in one convenient location.
To become a patient of the pediatric Post-COVID Program, your child must be:
0-21 years of age
Diagnosed with COVID-19 by a lab test (positive PCR test, positive antigen test or a positive antibody test later on)
30+ days beyond initial COVID diagnosis and have at least one new or ongoing symptom. Examples of symptoms may include:
Persistent or severe fatigue
Loss of taste and smell
Frequent new headaches
Muscle aches
Joint pain
Weakness
Feelings of anxiety and/or mood changes
[These are the most commonly reported symptoms, but many patients experience other symptoms as well. ]
To make an appointment: Email Covid19LongitudinalCareClinic@childrensnational.org to request an appointment. In your email, please include your name, phone number and email address, as well as the child’s name and date of birth. Parents/guardians can refer their child or a referring pediatrician/care provider can refer a patient.
Once the Program receives your email, the team will contact your family within 7 days to do an intake screening. This screening will determine the extent and type of symptoms your child has been having. This information will be used to determine the evaluations and specialty care providers your child will see at their appointment.
Your child’s first appointment will be scheduled a few months after the intake screening call. During your child’s appointment, they will see physicians from Infectious Diseases, Psychology and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Additional providers may be seen as well depending on your child’s unique symptoms. This appointment will last approximately two hours and will take place in the Pain Medicine Clinic on the 4th floor of the hospital’s main campus.

Multidisciplinary Long-Term Recovery
The COVID Recovery Program is a collaboration among medical specialists across all MedStar Health hospitals. The team aims to support patients recovering from COVID-19 with persistent symptoms such as:
Fatigue
Pain
Persistent shortness of breath
Thinking, focus, and memory issues
Weakness
The Program will support your recovery by offering a wide range of services from a team of medical specialists that will help you return to your normal activities as soon as possible. The team is led by physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians and advanced practice providers who specialize in the rehabilitation of patients with a variety of physical impairments. They will perform a detailed evaluation and provide necessary referrals to specialists who can further address your symptoms.
A patient navigator and community health advocate will assist you with scheduling and managing your plan of care. Visits may be via telemedicine or onsite at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital or MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital.
Please be advised that the Recovery Program functions as an outpatient clinic and does not provide access to an after-hours or on call provider. It should not be a substitute to your established relationship with your primary care provider. Any urgent or quickly escalating symptoms should be addressed via urgent care, your primary care provider, or a visit to the emergency department. Communications set to your provider via the patient portal will be addressed during regular clinic hours Monday through Friday.
Patients interested in the COVID Recovery Program should be at least 6 weeks from the start of their COVID symptoms and should have documentation of at least one positive COVID-19 test. Your doctor can also state that your symptoms indicated COVID without a positive test. If you do not have a documented positive test a referral from a provider will be necessary to enter the program.
To make an appointment: Fill out the COVID Recovery Program Registration Form and have your doctor’s office fax your medical record to 833-417-6843. If you have any questions or prefer to complete your registration by phone, please call 202-877-1104.
