Fact: Every 2 seconds, someone needs blood
Fact: 1 in 7 hospital patients need blood
Fact: 33,000 blood transfusions are needed daily
Fact: Less than 10% of Americans donate blood
Fact: 50% of the US supply: from blood drives
Fact: 12% of donations come from Millennials
Fact: 5% of donors are African American

Monday, January 18 is the 26th anniversary of the National Day of Service, celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King.

Last week, US Surgeon General Adams issued an open letter to all Colleges and Universities to help drive Convalescent Plasma donations and host Campus Plasma Drives.

Do you have a College or University STUDENT in your circle? Encourage them to join us in this essential and coordinated #Push4Plasma Campaign to increase Convalescent Plasma donations on campuses nationwide, in an effort to combat the impact of COVID-19.
